A shopper who posts on TikTok as Grandma Pam shared a video from inside an Aldi store after she said she spotted a large frozen meat box that caught her attention. In the video, which has gained 556,400 views and more than 13,800 likes, she pointed to a product labeled “The Grill Master Collection” and highlighted a price tag showing $64.99 under the Aldi Finds section.
She stated that the box weighed 7.7 pounds and told viewers she planned to take it home to open it. On-screen text in the TikTok video reads “Aldi $65 grill master box reveal.” Pam, who also goes by Grandma Pam and posts under the handle @grandmapamsgroceryfinds, said she could not believe her eyes at what she was getting.
The video later shifted to her home kitchen, where she began removing the plastic wrapping from the box. She explained that the product comes frozen and is not available every time of the year, adding that shoppers need to get over there quickly because the items arrive already pre-packaged.

Pam stated that the meats can even be used in a sous vide machine just as they are. She pulled out the vacuum-sealed packages one by one and described each item. First came what she called New York strips that she said were super thick, showing two of them and then two more for a total of four.
Next she held up packages of ground beef patties and said they were doubles, which she explained could make four double cheeseburgers or eight singles. She noted that the patties looked pretty good in size. After that she displayed two bacon-wrapped sirloins and reacted with “yum.”
She then showed two pork chops and suggested that if someone wanted those for a meal they could go ahead. Finally she revealed two chicken breasts and said they could be used to make fajitas or eaten just like that or however someone preferred. Pam counted the packages while pointing and said the box offered one meal, two meals, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine.
She claimed the total came to nine meals for $65. To check portion size she placed two of the New York strip steaks on a digital kitchen scale, which displayed a reading of 1.043 pounds. She stated that the two together weighed 1.04 pounds, or about 8 ounces apiece.
Pam closed the video by encouraging viewers to give the box a try. She had earlier noted a catch about the product, saying, “It comes frozen, just so you know.” This kind of bulk meal deal can be a surprise, like when a woman orders a 54-family steak meal from Texas Roadhouse and opens the box.
Some viewers left comments reacting to the price and the contents. One commenter felt the cost was too high and wrote, “to much for 65 bucks. maybe 40 bucks but not 65.” Another questioned the quality of the meat from the store in general and asked, “Is it me or does all Aldis these meat, taste weird???”
A third compared the offering to prices at their own local store and said, “Maybe my local grocery is just clutch, but that is not worth 65$ lol. My ugo is could get that fresh not frozen for about 40 bucks.” One person explained they had stopped buying grocery-store meat altogether and wrote, “I don’t buy meat from the grocery store anymore. I get local meat with no hormones. I’m not sure where Aldi gets their meat from.”
Another suggested that many of the negative reactions might not stop people from checking it out themselves, stating, “I bet half the people complaining that these steaks are trash are on their way to Aldis now.” Such price concerns have surfaced elsewhere, like when a shopper sees Froot Loops cut from 8.25 to 6.89 and calls it no deal.
A commenter from Southern Indiana acknowledged the higher local cost but added, “while this is expensive in Southern Indiana, I imagine in places where food is much more expensive, this is a great deal.” Another viewer expressed surprise at the pricing given the store’s usual reputation and wrote, “I’m very surprised because Aldi is usually cheap but this is quite expensive.”
