DoorDash driver delivered an order to the wrong Indiana home. The homeowner refused to give it back

He even threatened to call the police

A DoorDash driver’s confrontation with homeowners in Carmel, Indiana, has drawn widespread attention online after he filmed himself demanding the return of a food order he had delivered to the wrong address.

In the video, the driver says DoorDash’s app sent him to the wrong house. He says the homeowners knew the order was not theirs but still would not give it back. He can be heard saying he is trying to earn money for college and asking the homeowners multiple times to return the food.

The exchange between the driver and the homeowners quickly turned heated, with both sides threatening to call the police. The driver also threatened to damage property if the food was not returned.

Driver points to the home’s pillars while accusing the couple of theft

The video opens with the driver standing at the door of a white brick house with a doormat that reads “McGuire.” Ringing the doorbell, he says, “So DoorDash took me to the wrong house and these people won’t give me my food back. Knowing d–n well they didn’t order sh–t.” He then warns, “So I’m giving them a couple more seconds to come bring me my f–king food back before I break all their sh–t.”

A man opens the door, wearing a navy blue T-shirt with a white “NY” logo. The driver tells him, “No, I need my food. I need my food. I delivered food. I delivered food to the wrong house. I just need my food back.” The man responds, “You f–ked up. You go away.” DoorDash disputes over food delivery errors escalated before too, as when a Houston man ordered express delivery but two dashers stole his food

The driver then says he is a “19-year-old kid trying to get college money” and threatens to call the police. He tells the man, “I asked nicely 5 times, can I just get my food back?” The man replies, “And you’re gonna f–k my s–t up, right?” The driver answers, “Yeah, I promise you I will if I do not get my food back.”

As the man tells him to leave, the driver refuses and repeats his threat to call the police if the food is not returned. This is when he points to the house’s architecture, telling the man, “Dude, you live in a nice a– house. Why are you stealing food? Look at this. You have pillars. You have pillars and sh–t. Why are you stealing food from a 19-year-old trying to make money? Are you that much of a f–king loser?”

A woman’s voice is heard from inside the home asking, “Why can you not deliver food to the right house?” The driver responds that it was “a simple mistake” and that “everybody makes mistakes.” As the man begins closing the door, the driver repeatedly asks how old he is and calls him a “loser,” also accusing him of committing a crime by recording the interaction. The man is heard denying this.

The video ends after the door is shut, with the driver saying he plans to call the police and directing insults at the homeowners, including calling the man a “fat f–k.” On-screen text in the video reads, “Ts crazy just tryna DoorDash.” Such confrontations over deliveries escalate quickly, like when a man steps out to grab his DoorDash order only to find a video of the driver laughing at him.

Several users responded to the video on X. One wrote, “You can’t give food to the wrong people and then take it back and deliver to the right people. Gross.” Another commented, “The driver delivered to the wrong house. He should not have made threats but that couple is SCUM.”

Another user wrote, “What the hell is wrong with people. they had to know they took the food they did not pay for. complete scumbags. the second part is the food can not be delivered to the right person after the wrong people touched it so move on imo.” A separate comment raised a food safety concern, stating, “It’s a health code violation to take it back!”
