Royal Caribbean passenger was blocked from entering her room. Then she found dozens of what appear to be Turkeys: ‘Enjoy the chaos’

Author and nurse influencer Jen Hamilton posted a TikTok video after she and her family were stopped from walking into their cruise cabin. Hamilton said in the video that people were already inside the room and told them to wait five more minutes. She stated the room had already been cleaned for the day, and she did not know what was happening.

Hamilton said her children were very interested in the delay. The video showed her son, seen from behind in a teal shirt, using a key card to open the cabin door. The camera then moved across a brightly lit room with two twin beds and a window leading to a balcony.

The beds appeared covered with numerous white towel animals. Hamilton said in the video, “Oh, look at all the swans!” She then asked if they were turkeys and added that they were so cute and everywhere. On-screen text in the video read “(Not swans)” and later “(Not turkeys).”

Hamilton read a cabin note that mentioned new followers and a spa day

Hamilton picked up a folded card from one of the beds and read it aloud. The note began, “Jen, we thought your vacation could use a few essentials. A spa day because you’ve done enough working for one lifetime. Tikka masala in bed. Dreams really do come true. And a few new followers waiting in your room.”

She continued reading from the card: “Oh, they’re soft. They’re loyal. Surprisingly good for swaddling.” The note also referred to not having to Google her afterwards. It closed with the line, “Anyway, eat the thing, take the nap, enjoy the chaos. Let someone else figure it out for once!”

Hamilton reacted in the video by saying, “Oh my gosh. Oh, no freaking way!” She then thanked Royal Caribbean and said the gesture was so nice. Hamilton stated that she loves being on the cruise and loves it even more now.

She later held up one of the towel animals and corrected her earlier guesses. Hamilton said she did not think they were swans or turkeys and that they were probably chickens. She added that her first guesses had been dense of her.

Hamilton said nobody at Royal was paying her to say anything nice about them. She stated the cruise was paid for with regular big bucks and that they just love coming on a Royal Cruise. She also mentioned that she had just made a video about pickles. Royal Caribbean passengers have shared various experiences, such as when a Georgia woman called her cruise perfect, then noticed something on a room service lid that changed her entire experience.

The TikTok video has 259,600 views, 55,600 likes, and more than 800 comments. Viewers responded to the towel animals and the note left in the cabin. One commenter wrote about the towel figures and their appearance. They said, “Sorry about the chickens… they have a bit of a turkey complex.” Another commenter addressed Hamilton directly about the figures on the beds. They wrote, “Girl they’re your chickens!”

A viewer commented on how companies handle public gestures. They wrote, “Keep note ALL corporations. This is how you do PR. Makes me want to book with them now.” One commenter suggested Hamilton respond in kind to the cabin display. They wrote, “Girl if you don’t start a towel animal war with them right now….”
