Walmart shopper says reckless teenagers were creating a hazard near the pharmacy aisle. So she fakes the right phone call: ‘A deer in headlights’

Running a quick errand to Walmart to grab basic medicines is usually an in-and-out mission. But stepping into a big-box retail space means you are always at the mercy of chaotic customer antics. For creator Xaviera Bryant (@xaviera.bryant), a simple trip to pick up cough drops led to an impromptu mission in busting reckless teenagers allegedly creating havoc in the aisles.

In a recent TikTok video, Bryant walked her followers through an allegedly outrageous encounter with two unruly teenagers at Walmart. She claimed that the adolescents initially appeared to be sampling personal care products, specifically, a lotion. But their sampling allegedly escalated into blatant property vandalism in a matter of minutes.

According to Bryant, the teenagers’ reckless behavior created a dangerous slip hazard right near the entrance of the pharmacy. Unable to find an executive to report their behavior, she eventually staged a brilliantly fake phone call to put the teenagers in their place.

The alleged incident unfolded when Bryant entered Walmart to purchase cough drops for a sore throat. Passing through the health and beauty department, she noticed two boys lingering around a store display. According to her, they were boldly dispensing a massive glob of lotion into their hands straight from an unpurchased bottle.

The casual product testing was already irritating to Bryant, but things took a dangerous turn when she walked back out toward the pharmacy counter. Catching up to the pair once again, she watched in disbelief as one of the teenagers casually slung the massive excess glob of lotion directly onto the retail floor. Bryant quickly reasoned that the pharmacy area is frequently navigated by elderly shoppers picking up prescriptions. 

So, she was furious at the blatant disregard for basic customer safety. “He flings it onto the floor right in front of the pharmacy, which pisses me off because y’all know no one goes to the pharmacy more than our grandmas, our grandpas, our aunts and uncles… That’s a hazard, and somebody is going to come across that and possibly fall and hurt themselves,” she explained.

Refusing to let the behavior slide, Bryant decided to tail the culprits through the central aisles. During this, she allegedly witnessed the boy systematically wiping his lotion-covered hands across every store fixture, display sign, and boxed product he passed.

At this point, Bryant was furious but unable to spot an associate on the sales floor to intervene directly. So, she reportedly followed the duo to the self-checkout registers to deliver an unforgettable reality check. Pulling out her phone, Bryant allegedly staged a loud, detailed conversation with an imaginary friend. 

She loudly broke down the boys’ every move, slamming their complete lack of manners, and fabricating a claim that security was already on the way. “I was like, ‘Yeah, low-life, no-home-training-a**, need to be in jail.’ I was like, ‘It’s all good, though, because I already reported them to security.’”

Bryant then recalled the teenagers’ reaction, claiming, “them two boys forgot what they was ringing up because they was so busy staring at me, looking like a deer in headlights!” Wrapping up her checkout recap, Bryant noted that the pair looked completely paralyzed by the prospect of facing store security, proving that public embarrassment remains the ultimate deterrent.

It’s important to remember that retail stores are shared public spaces, not adolescent playgrounds. Unruly behavior in big-box retail stores has increasingly burdened already overworked floor associates. So, if you see kids treating store aisles like a personal dumping ground, a well-timed, loud phone call might just be the exact reality check they need.
