Woman allegedly tries to force small business owner to fulfill impossible order, refuses to accept a ‘No.’ Then the owner decides to match her vibe

THAT she was not expecting.

Running a small business comes with a unique set of challenges and roadblocks that most simply aren’t ready to face; let’s just say it’s not for everyone. But one awkward problem almost all businesses face at some point or another is the dreaded “Karen” customer, which is exactly what one woman on TikTok found herself dealing with.

TikToker “@rdhmbqa” recorded herself talking with a customer over the phone who apparently made a rather impossible request. The customer, who has been labeled a “Karen” by the original poster, allegedly phoned the business past 9 p.m. The owner tries to decline her request, telling her she cannot help, at which point the Karen customer can be heard saying, “You realize that I am the one with the money, right? And you’re not.”

The owner appears to be visibly shocked by the snide comment but remains composed: “Ma’am, that was incredibly rude,” she responds. The customer then tells the owner, “I need this cake for 120 for tomorrow.” It doesn’t take an expert on cakes to know that this is a tall order and not one many bakeries would be willing to take on such short notice. Nevertheless, the owner tries to explain that she cannot fulfil the request, leading the customer to call her a “b—h.”

I blacked out. As a business owner, do all you can to not let them get you emotional. However, I do match the vibe and being a entrepreneur doesn’t make any of us a door mat. 🤘🏼❤️ i’m not perfect but 😂☠️🪦 #entitled #karen #businessowner #fypシ #cringe

At this point, the owner decides she won’t play nice anymore: “Did you just call me a b—h?” she asks, before launching into a tirade, “I don’t know who the f–k you think you are, but I’m the wrong motherf—er,” she yells, chastizing the caller for “making fun” of her not having money and calling past 9 p.m.

TikTok commends the profanity-fueled rant

After the owner’s rant concluded, the customer expressed indignation at how she was spoken to, prompting the owner to tell her to “go f–k yourself,” before hanging up. Viewers couldn’t get enough of the powerful response, commending the owner for standing her ground: “I felt so much relief for you after you let out what we all wish we had the guts to say to some customers.”

However, not everyone bought the interaction, with some claiming it to be a skit aiming to garner attention on TikTok.

Others chimed in with more words of encouragement: “Oh that change up was unreal. Way to go!” wrote one person. Another said the owner’s response was “satisfying to hear.” Meanwhile, some expressed their shock at the “audacity” of the customer to be offended by the owner’s tirade after she threw the first insult.

Regardless of whether it was real or not, the owner’s rant struck a chord with viewers who have experienced similar entitled customers before and all wish they could have said something similar.
