Illinois psychopath travels to Palestine, executes unarmed teen, doesn’t see what the big deal is

Terrifying that you can commit cold-blooded murder and return home without consequence.

They walk among us. You could be waiting in line at the DMV, chatting with a random guy at a party, or doing a project with a co-worker. But little do you know that behind a smiling, friendly facade is a genuine psychopath, someone who not only casually executes innocents with a sniper fire, but brags about it.

Such is the case of Illinois man Daniel Raab, who is from a wealthy Naperville family, is a former varsity basketball player, and majored in biology at the University of Illinois. In 2023, Raab traveled to Gaza City with a sniper rifle and equipment crowdfunded by his family, set up a sniping nest in an abandoned apartment, and proceeded to open fire on unarmed civilians.

Raab was recently shown drone footage of one of his crimes. As an unarmed teenager’s head explodes from his sniper fire he confirms, “That was my first elimination”. His victim, 19-year-old Salem Doghmosh, was attempting to retrieve the body of his beloved older brother, Mohammed, who had also been executed. As he was dragging his brother’s body away, Raab aimed at Salem’s head and fired.

Raab smirked while he explained :

“I let him come closer and closer. I didn’t understand what he was doing. … It’s hard for me to understand … and I really don’t care. I mean, what was so important about that corpse? But he came to drag him. He bent down to take him, and I shot one bullet and hit him in the head ”

There is no justice

That Raab not only cannot understand why someone might want to retrieve the corpse of their murdered brother to give him a dignified burial, but doesn’t even care to theorize why, tells you all you need to know about the evil embedded in his heart.

Raab went on to reveal his thinking when peering at unarmed civilians through the safety of his scope:

“They’re thinking: ‘Oh I don’t think [I’ll get shot] because I’m wearing civilian clothes and I am not carrying a weapon and all that’, but they were wrong. That’s what you have snipers for.”

In a just world, Raab would now be incarcerated, hopefully while also undergoing psychiatric treatment to address his terrifying cruelty and lack of empathy. But he not only walks free, but considers himself a hero for shooting unarmed civilians without warning.

Raab should be listed alongside the United States’ other serial killers, but instead will likely never face justice for his crimes. For the authorities, his family, and most importantly, for Raab himself, Palestinians are not human beings. They are vermin that must be eliminated.
