With four shows (soon to be five!) in their arsenal, The CW’s Arrowverse is going strong and doesn’t look to be slowing down anytime soon.

What started with just Arrow more than five years ago has slowly grown into an impressive lineup that now includes The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl and the recently announced Black Lightening. But why stop there? After all, DC has a vast library of fantastic characters who deserve a chance in the spotlight, and with audiences’ insatiable desire for all things superhero, The CW should strike while the iron is hot.

All of the characters on the following list are unique and interesting enough to carry a show by themselves. Not only that, but they have rich histories and complex storylines that would really need a television show rather than a live-action movie to completely do them justice. We’re living in the age of superheroes right now, there’s no doubt about that, and the ones on this list definitely deserve an opportunity to shine!
