DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow Found Footage Promo Teases “Invasion!”

Knowing we're at the home stretch, The CW is not content to rest on its laurels and continues to circulate promotional materials leading up to the big DC TV four-show crossover. Knowing we’re at the home stretch, The CW is not content to rest on its laurels and continues to circulate promotional materials leading up to the big DC TV four-show crossover. Earlier this week, they released new posters for each show (check them out here and here) as well as a brief new trailer.

The latest promo video comes in the form of a nifty new clip hyping the portion of the crossover belonging to DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. This black and white found footage-style reel sees the Dominators being met with military force and is highly reminiscent of 1950’s era science fiction movies, something quite appropriate for a show that deals in time travel.

At this point, it remains unclear if this footage is actually from the crossover itself or was shot specifically for promotional purposes because no members of the principal cast are to be seen – but it’s pretty cool nonetheless. If it’s the former, that could mean the Dominators have been to Earth before, which deepens the mystery.

For more details concerning LoT’s portion of the crossover, check out the official synopsis below:

ALL FOR ONE AND ONE FOR ALL IN THIS CROSSOVER OF SUPERHEROES — After learning the Dominators’ plan for the world, the Legends must work together with The Flash (guest star Grant Gustin), Supergirl (guest star Melissa Benoist) and Green Arrow (guest star Stephen Amell) to kill them once and for all. Meanwhile, Stein (Victor Garber) figures out, with the help of others, how the team can terminate the Dominators, but is distracted by the aberration he realizes he created in 1987. Brandon Routh, Franz Drameh, Dominic Purcell, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Nick Zano and Caity Lotz also star. Gregory Smith directed the episode written by Phil Klemmer & Marc Guggenheim.

“Heroes v Aliens” begins on Monday, November 28 with Supergirl and concludes on Thursday, December 1 with DC’s Legends of Tomorrow on The CW.
