The Defenders Get Their Very Own Marvel 10th Anniversary Posters

After both Deadpool and the Justice League took on Marvel's 10th anniversary posters, now it's time for The Defenders to step into the spotlight.

Several days ago, Marvel released 33 snazzy new posters celebrating their 10th anniversary. Each one featured a prominent MCU character – Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Doctor Strange, etc. – along with a tagline that read More Than A (fill in the blank). So, for instance, Tony Stark’s said More Than A Suit, while T’Challa’s read More Than A King.

As expected, the parodies have been flooding the internet at an alarming rate, with Deadpool taking a go at them earlier this week and the Justice League following shortly after. Now, it’s time for the next natural step in all this, which is The Defenders getting in on the fun.

Yes, in the gallery below you’ll see (alongside the original 33 posters plus the aforementioned parodies), one-sheets for the likes of Daredevil, Iron Fist, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage. Of course, each one comes accompanied with the “More Than A” tagline as well, with all of them being spot on.

These posters are pretty timely, too, as all four of the Defenders have been making headlines as of late. Jessica, for instance, recently earned herself a third season, while Luke’s got his sophomore outing arriving on Netflix later this month. As for the Man Without Fear and Danny Rand, it’s unknown exactly when their respective series will return, but everything we’ve heard points to a late 2018 premiere for each.

Beyond that, it’s unclear what Marvel has planned for The Defenders, but with a second season of the team-up show having been ruled out on a few occasions now, it looks like they’ll all be sticking to their own titles for the time being. Which, quite frankly, isn’t the worst thing in the world.
