Iron Fist will finally hit Netflix next month and to help amp up the excitement, some new photos of Finn Jones as Danny Rand have found their way online today. As you can see in the gallery above, they feature the superhero striking some poses which should be instantly familiar to fans of his comic book adventures.

Beyond that, they don’t reveal much at all, but we do see that Danny is sporting the iconic dragon tattoo on his chest. There’s sadly no sign of a costume, though we recently learned that he may not even end up wearing it in the Marvel series. Or, as many are speculating, the reveal will probably be saved for Iron Fist‘s finale, which would make sense.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with the character, the supernaturally enhanced hero wields a mystical force known as the Iron Fist, which allows him to laser-focus his chi and, for example, briefly render his fist superhumanly powerful. Danny Rand has previously been described by Marvel and Netflix as handsome, sophisticated, independent and a loner. Sounds like they’re sticking close to the comic books then, and these images are definitely exciting regardless of their simplicity.

With any luck, more character portraits like these will hopefully find their way online over the next few weeks, along with one final trailer for Iron Fist before it hits the streaming service on March 17th.
