The Flash Discovers A Doorway To Earth-2 In New Clip From Tomorrow’s Episode

While the official synopsis for this episode of The Flash mentions only Captain Cold and the return of his father to Central City, the first clip from "Family of Rogues" confirms that the show will still be spending some time focusing on the mysteries of Earth-2. That's where Jay Garrick hails from, and as you can see, Barry and the rest of team Flash have now made it their mission to both help him return and solve the mystery of Zoom.

Following the shocking last minute reveal in last week’s episode of The Flash that Harrison Wells is a beloved hero on Earth-2, you have to wonder whether this doorway being in S.T.A.R. Labs is going to somehow lead to him meeting up with the Scarlet Speedster, a moment which is sure to be very interesting considering the fact that the Earth-1 version was Eobard Thawne/Reverse-Flash in disguise.

Here’s the synopsis that we mentioned above for the upcoming episode of The Flash:

When Barry (Grant Gustin) and the team find out Captain Cold (guest star Wentworth Miller) has been kidnapped, they form an uneasy alliance with his sister, Lisa (guest star Peyton List). However, Barry feels double-crossed when he finds out Snart is working with his father, Lewis Snart (guest star Michael Ironside) on a heist. Meanwhile, Joe (Jesse L. Martin) is faced with a difficult decision. John Showalter directed the episode written by Julian Meiojas & Katherine Walczak.

As great a character as Captain Cold is, this initially sounded like something of a filler episode for The Flash, so it’s a relief to see that it’s still going to address some of the show’s overarching mysteries.
