Although Gotham concluded its third season only one week ago, the creative minds behind the Batman prequel series aren’t wasting time getting back to work. As you may be aware of, principal photography for the fourth season will soon commence as not only do they have to be ready to rock come this fall, but it’s very possible that a teaser trailer must be made ready in time for San Diego Comic-Con in July.

With that, executive producer John Stephens, who continues to take on an increasingly more important role behind the scenes, recently took to Twitter to not only reveal the title of season 4’s premiere, but also to tell us that he’s writing it.

It shouldn’t come as a surprise that Danny Cannon is directing, knowing that he’s been a vital cog in the machine since the start. The episode’s title, however, points toward Robin Lord Taylor’s Oswald Cobbelpot taking on a more prominent role right out of the gate. Hey, when you title it “Pax Penguina,” we can assume no less.

While this may very well leave us all scratching our heads for the next few months, it’s important we remember that Penguin started laying out plans for the Iceberg Lounge in season 3’s finale, so that likely has something to do with it. Not only that, but “pax” is Latin for “peace,” causing some to believe that a conflict between Oswald’s establishment and Sirens is imminent. The latter mentioned club is also something we need to keep an eye on due to the fact that it appears Tabitha Galavan is now the sole proprietor – and has brought Selina Kyle into the fold, no less.

Gotham returns for its fourth season on Thursdays this fall on Fox.
