It looks like Fox’s Gotham might be gearing up to take a page out of Fifty Shades Of Grey‘s rather unconventional playbook if this new image from next week’s episode, “Knock Knock,” is any indication.

We’ve already had some hints that there might be an attraction between future Tigress Tabitha Galavan (Jessica Lucas) and Jim Gordon’s unhinged ex, Barbara Kean (Erin Richards), but according to Lucas, things are set to get even more heated – and Tabitha’s scheming brother Theo (James Frain) might just have a role to play, too.

Lucas also reiterates that it could be some time before her character actually becomes the DC supervillain known as Tigress, because for now it’s all about exploring who Tabitha is without the costume.

She isn’t Tigress yet, and what I love about the show is that it’s more about who these people were before they became those iconic characters. We’re exploring who she is as an individual first, and I don’t even know when Tigress will even emerge. For now, she is just Tabitha. She definitely takes Barbara under her wing and there’s also a little bit more. Maybe a little bit of a love triangle.

Find out what this villainous trio are planning to do with that whip when Gotham returns with “Knock, Knock”  this Monday at 8 PM EST on FOX.
