The first official images have been released from this Tuesday’s episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and they focus entirely on Elizabeth Henstridge’s Jemma Simmons as she fights for survival on a mysterious alien world.
What exactly Simmons was up to and the kind of threats she encountered while there has been one of season three’s biggest mysteries so far, and it definitely appears as if this instalment of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will provide some much needed answers for anxious fans of the series.

After her dramatic rescue from another planet, Simmons is still reeling from her ordeal and reveals how she had to fight for her life in a harsh new world, on “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” TUESDAY, OCTOBER 27 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
Seeing Simmons exploring the alien planet she was trapped on promises to be very interesting, especially if it continues to expand the cosmic side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, potentially tying in to upcoming movies like Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2 and Inhumans.
