Actress Jenna Fischer who plays Pam on The Office is going to factor her real life pregnancy into the upcoming eight season of the show. That’s right, Jim and Pam are going to be welcoming another baby this season on The Office.

“Pam will be pregnant when the season starts,” the actress tells New York Magazine’s Vulture blog. “Pam and Jim snuck away last season on Valentine’s Day, and they had sex. The story is that they conceived this baby at that time, and were keeping it a secret until we come back from the summer.”

“When we started shooting that [Valentine’s Day] episode, I thought to myself, If everything goes well, this is going to be a very, very convenient coincidence,” Fischer further told the site. “And I think I found out I was pregnant when we were shooting that episode.”

Fischer also teased that she knew who Steve Carell‘s replacement is but of course, she’s not allowed to say anything. What we do know though is that James Spader will be joining the show full time, which should be interesting. It still begs the question though, who is going to take Carell’s spot?

Tune in this fall on NBC to find out!
