Kara Emerges As An Ace Reporter In New Supergirl Clips

Thankfully, tonight will mark the end of the month-long hiatus that Supergirl fans have been forced to endure. And aside from beginning the sprint leading toward a season finale that’ll include the likes of Superman and General Zod, it looks like Kara will give this reporter thing another go.

In the first of two clips we have to present today, Kara and Lena Luthor run in to the latter’s ex-boyfriend, played by Rahul Kohli (iZombie), at an event. Shortly thereafter, our heroine is confronted by a nervous man who has some secretive news to share with her, and happens to have “I’m going to be mysteriously shot in a parking lot” written all over him. What that may specifically be remains to be seen.

The second bit of footage looks like it probably precedes the first chronologically and also involves Kara and Lena, albeit in a more lighthearted setting. In it, Lena talks a bit about her former flame before her super friend volunteers to accompany her to the function.

For more information regarding “Ace Reporter,” be sure to check out the official synopsis below:

IZOMBIE’S RAHUL KOHLI GUEST STARS – Lena’s (guest star Katie McGarth) ex-boyfriend, Jack Spheer (guest star Rahul Kohli), comes to National City to unveil his big breakthrough in nano-technology, which has the potential to eradicate all diseases. Lena asks Kara to attend Jack’s conference with her for support. When Kara sees Snapper (guest Star Ian Gomez) in attendance she’s inspired to tap back into her reporter skills and questions Jack on his discovery, which ultimately leads to a bigger investigation that puts everyone in danger. Armen V. Kevorkian directed the episode written by Paula Yoo & Caitlin Parrish (#218).

Supergirl airs on Monday nights on The CW.
