Legends Of Tomorrow Channels Puppet Master In New Photos

If you've been keeping up with the current season of Legends of Tomorrow, then you've no doubt been witness to the Waverider crew doing battle with threats much different from those prior. Before, they had to deal with the likes of Vandal Savage and the Legion of Doom, but Mallus opened the door for a carnivorous unicorn, a fairy godmother and, more recently, a Minotaur.

Well, if you thought any of the Time Fugitives which I just fired off were strange, then get ready for a whole new level of weirdness next week when it appears that Sara Lance, John Constantine and the rest of the gang will be forced to deal with killer dolls. Being a lover of horror movies myself, it’s pretty difficult not recalling classics such as Puppet Master and Child’s Play after seeing the latest round of promotional images, though the former is probably more appropriate to reference in this instance.

With that, I’ll encourage you to browse the gallery below in order to see some photos taken from the aptly titled “Hell No, Dolly!” Time will ultimately tell what’s pulling the strings as it were, but I’m guessing someone like Sara can hold her own against a pint-sized porcelain foe before the big reveal arrives.

What remains entirely unclear at this point, though, is just how Pee-wee Herman will factor into the story. You may have read about his recently disclosed cameo yesterday, but I can’t grasp how the 1980’s icon gels with the time period. Given that, we’ll probably see him in an entirely unrelated scene at some point during the episode.

For more on “Hell No, Dolly!,” be sure to check out the official synopsis:

RIPPLE EFFECT — With Rory (Dominic Purcell) and Ava (Jes Macallan) at odds, Sara (Caity Lotz) tries to come up with a way for them to get along, but all is put on hold when a new magical creature attacks the Legends. Constantine (Matt Ryan) is forced to confront his tragic past but it could have devastating consequences for the rest of the team. Meanwhile, Mona (Ramona Young) has a crush on someone she works with and gets some advice from Nate (Nick Zano). Brandon Routh, Tala Ashe, Maisie Richardson-Sellers also star. April Mullen directed the episode written by Grainne Godfree & Morgan Faust wrote the episode (#407). Original airdate 12/3/2018.

Legends of Tomorrow airs on Monday nights on The CW.
