In the season two premiere of The Flash, fans were left reeling when Ronnie Raymond was seemingly killed in the Singularity above Central City. His death came out of nowhere, and fans have since been theorizing that we’re either going to meet Ronnie’s Earth-2 doppelgänger or the hero is actually trapped in that alternate reality.

Now, actor Robbie Amell has seemingly confirmed that he’ll be returning to The Flash somewhere down the line. In the photo below, he’s pictured alongside Franz Drameh, an actor who will make his debut in next week’s episode as Jefferson “Jax” Jackson.

An obscure character from the comic books, Jax is going to be teaming up with Dr. Martin Stein to become the new Firestorm, and you can learn more about him by clicking here to check out the promo for “The Fury of Firestorm.”

The Flash has gotten off to a great start this year, with some awesome character work and very exciting hints about what’s to come, as Zoom continues to menace Barry Allen. Plus, if last night’s instalment is anything to go by, The CW series still knows how to deliver the best cliffhanger endings on TV right now.

Tell us, how do you think Robbie Amell’s Ronnie Raymond will return to The Flash? Let us know your theories below.

Firestorm is in great hands. But I'll be back.
