Robin, Hawk And Dove Feature In New Titans BTS Image And Video
As you may know, this has been a strange month for those of us looking forward to the upcoming live action Titans series. I say that because none will soon forget those candid images featuring the likes of Starfire, Beast Boy and Raven that were taken during outdoor filming. Some came to the defense of the photos, sure, but I really don’t care if they were wearing winter coats because everything else on display looked pretty bad.
To my surprise, the studio hasn’t even bothered to play any sort of damage control in the time since. Really, with all the backlash that ensued, wouldn’t you think they’d release some high-resolution images of their own in order to combat negative word of mouth?
Funny enough, the latest round of visual evidence to come down the grapevine has to do with the characters whom we already know to look good. Already, we’ve seen Brenton Thwaites as Dick Grayson/Robin and, let me say, he’s been appearing quite sharp – even if from only mid-chest area and up.
This time, though, upcomingdceu’s Instagram page shows us the Boy Wonder in full regalia, and he’s downright badass. The picture may be grainy, yes, but it’s nice getting a better idea of what Batman’s first apprentice will look like while heading into battle.
Additionally, heroic.gateway’s Instagram account has managed to preserve a video created by Dove herself, Minka Kelly, in which she has a little filtered fun with co-star Alan Ritchson, who’s been enlisted to play Hawk. In the past, we’d seen a fairly good shot of their costumes – and they’re wearing them here – but we’re witnessing them enjoying a few laughs in between takes this time around.
Titans is set to premiere later this year on WB’s DC-themed streaming service.
