To briefly recap, the mega event will introduce Ruby Rose as BatwomanGrant Gustin and Stephen Amell trade places as the Flash and Green ArrowTyler Hoechlin dons a black Superman costume, and all signs point toward Doctor Destiny being the main villain. Sounds pretty awesome, doesn’t it?

For the most part, teaser pics from the set have shown the cast during the happiest of times, but Amell just threw us a curveball on Twitter by revealing one bloody piece of scenery which some are understandably assuming originates from somewhere in Gotham City, and can be viewed below.

Pointing out the obvious, he captioned the photo with the following:

“This years (sic) crossover feels like it has a lightness that we haven’t really seen before in the Arrowverse.”

To be honest, this ghastly display could be the product of Arkham Asylum, which we know to be featured during the “Elseworlds” event in some capacity. And if indeed the aforementioned Doctor Destiny were to show up, odds are he won’t be a clean fighter.

As always, we encourage you to keep watching this space because it seems doubtful that Amell is finished sharing goodies during his time on set. There’s a reason I’ve referred to him as “the unofficial ambassador of the Arrowverse,” so let’s hope he continues being in a generous mood.

This fall’s Arrowverse crossover begins on Sunday, December 9 with The Flash, continues on Monday, December 10 with Arrow, and wraps up on Tuesday, December 11 with Supergirl.
