‘Warrior Nun’ showrunner briefly pauses the campaign in favor of roasting Donald Trump and Kid Rock

The Halo Bearers end up being drawn into the orbit of the right-wing BFFs.

Even though it’s been dominating every fiber of his being ever since the series was first unceremoniously canceled by Netflix, showrunner Simon Barry is well within his rights to pursue other interests on social media outside of the campaign to save Warrior Nun.

As it turns out, one of his favorite things to do is mock Donald Trump, which hardly makes him a trailblazer. That being said, it does at least confirm that the raft of Halo Bearers losing their minds at the prospect of Barry potentially outing himself as a staunch Taylor Swift fan are wide of the mark, with the indictment of the Zoolander star clearly being the source behind his recent Twitter antics.

Going one step further, Barry has now offered his suggestions on what to name the Republican version of Milli Vanilli, thanks to a viral captioning contest demanding to discover the perfect moniker for right-wing BFFs and UFC attendees Trump and Kid Rock.

While he has promised even more goodies for the most dedicated of fans whenever the #SaveWarriorNun campaign reaches its next major milestone, Barry deserves to take a breather every now and again. After all, he’s spent months doing almost nothing on social media but drum up hype and celebrate the latest expansion of the crowd-funded billboards that keep popping up on brand new continents, but so far there isn’t a tangible shred of evidence that Warrior Nun will be saved.

On the other hand, you don’t have to travel too far or look too hard to discover that Trump and Kid Rock are in fact imbeciles.
