With the pair having infamously left the monarchical life behind to wishfully live an ever-so-slightly more low-key life, popular culture isn’t quite done with them yet. In fact, they’re the butt of a joke in a 2023 episode of Family Guy. Let’s find out which one, exactly.

The Family Guy entry in question is from season 22, episode 3, titled “A Stache From the Past.” In a fashion which is typical of the long-running animated sitcom, Meghan and Harry don’t have all that much screen time. Rather, they’re present for a quick cutaway sequence underscoring a throwaway comment made by Peter Griffin.

When Peter decides to move to New York to make some extra money, he quips that he’ll make it on his own, “just like Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.” Queue a scene in which the couple are relaxing poolside as bucketloads of residual cash from their Netflix deal comes their way, before Meghan reminds Harry it’s almost time for them to share a sponsored post endorsing Del Taco.

New episodes of Family Guy season 22 are still arriving every Sunday, undoubtedly with new hot-button celebrities set firmly in its crosshairs.
