Who plays The Armorer in ‘The Mandalorian?’

Such a minor yet significant role.

The Mandalorian came back onto our screens last night in chapter 17 (“The Apostate”), which, despite only being half an hour long, was absolutely jam-packed with exciting action, leaving fans with plenty of room to speculate about what might happen in season three. The episode opened with The Armorer, a character we’ve seen before in both this show and The Book of Boba Fett, doing her thing by forging a new helmet. As she takes out the finished item to an oath-swearing ceremony for a Foundling, an unnamed creature emerges from the water and begins attacking. The assembled warriors manage to keep it at bay, but not before The Armorer almost loses her life.

Swallow reprized her role as The Armorer in chapter five of The Book of Boba Fett, an episode considered one of the best in the first season of The Mandalorian spinoff, in which she survived a massacre. The Armorer also appeared in three episodes of season one of The Mandalorian, as well as being mentioned once in season two.

Although there’s no official confirmation that we’ll see The Armorer again in this season of The Mandalorian, given her place in Star Wars lore and fan reactions to the character, it seems likely Swallow will reappear. However, those associated with the show have done incredibly well to keep tight-lipped about further plot developments, so nothing is certain yet!
