Batman actor Kevin Conroy has passed away at age 66

Kevin Conroy, the actor best known for Batman: The Animated Series, has passed away at 66.

According to DC, Conroy passed away on Nov. 10, 2022, after a brief battle with cancer. DC said they were "deeply saddened" by the news.

Batman: The Animated Series co-creator Paul Dini paid homage to Conroy on Twitter with a poignant image.

Conroy was praised for recently penning a ground-breaking LGBTQ+ focused autobiographical comic called "Finding Batman" for DC Pride #1.

Conroy was also fondly remembered for volunteering to cook meals for 9/11 first-responders, just like a real-life superhero.
