First Look At Assault On Precinct 13’s Austin Stoker In 3 From Hell

With production on Rob Zombie's Devil's Rejects sequel, 3 From Hell, now underway, the director's shared a look at Austin Stoker in the film.

Rob Zombie is prepped and ready to close out his trilogy now that filming is well underway on his sequel to The Devil’s Rejects, which we know is titled 3 From Hell. That was the news which nearly brought the internet to a standstill just the other week, when the fan favorite director Tweeted out the first set photo, confirming that production had kicked into gear.

Of course, along with that comes casting news, and while we already know that Sid Haig, Bill Moseley and Sheri Moon Zombie are all returning for more, we learned a few days back that Zombie had added Austin Stoker to the line-up as well.

Not only that but now, we have our very first look at him in the film, as the director’s taken to Instagram once again to share a photo of himself and Stoker on set – with the actor seemingly playing a news reporter, given that the caption reads: Day 4 shooting 3 From Hell. Reporting the breaking news out of Ruggsville is very serious business. Just ask Austin Stoker.

Check it out down in the gallery below, along with a few other recent pics that Zombie’s been sharing:

As fans will know, Stoker’s perhaps most famous for portraying Lt. Ethan Bishop in John Carpenter’s Assault on Precinct 13, but has also appeared in films like Battle for the Planet of the Apes, Horror High and Airport 1975. We don’t imagine he’ll have a huge part in 3 From Hell, but we’re still happy to see him involved nonetheless and now that we’ve got our first look at him in the pic, we might just get to lay eyes on some of the other actors in the not too distant future.

After all, it’d seem that the devil’s rejects are neither dead nor forgotten, as Rob Zombie is resurrecting his doomed Firefly clan for another horror-tinged adventure in 3 From Hell. We’ll be keeping a close eye on the project as it continues to coalesce, but with production now underway, it shouldn’t be too much longer until we have some real, tangible info for you to sink your teeth into. As always, stay tuned for more.
