As you can see below, it features the entire team assembled and looking ready for action. The group looks quite a bit different to the last time we saw them though; Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax and Rocket Raccoon have now been joined by Nebula, Yondu and Mantis, not to mention Baby Groot, a new evolution of that sentient tree following the events of the first instalment.

Outside of Beauty and the Beast and Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. stands a good chance of being 2017’s biggest movie, especially after the last one exceeded expectations back in 2014. $1 billion seems like a guarantee, but assuming the reviews are positive enough, it could go even higher. After all, early test screenings have been through the roof, reportedly.

Whatever the eventual box office take is, at least fans won’t have long to wait before seeing the loveable group of A-holes again, as they’ll be making an appearance in Avengers: Infinity War. The specifics of their role in that film is still unclear, but it should be a lot of fun seeing them meet Earth’s Mightiest Heroes – no matter how large a part they end up playing in the fight against Thanos.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is set to be released on May 5th.
