The new collection kicks off with “Choo,” a masterful techno leaning effort that fans have been waiting ages for. A subdued mechanical rhythm introduces the piece, as slowly evolving synth melodies are worked into the mix. “Choo” gradually develops over the course of nine minutes, utilizing space and repetition to create a haunting backdrop.

The EP continues with “The Future,” a driving dancefloor cut with spacey synths, rolling basslines and persistent four on the floor rhythms. “The End Is Just The Beginning” rounds out the collection with an ambient techno vibe, as spiraling synth arpeggios drift on against deep bass and upbeat drum patterns.

Overall, PRY 037 is a strong EP packed to the brim with the kind of top notch production work we’ve come to expect from Eric Prydz, and fans will surely be pleased to have some new material from the Swedish legend.
