Jonathan Majors removal could lead to a mind-blowing Multiverse Saga crossover if this ‘Fantastic Four’ fave got cast as Kang

Kevin Feige wouldn't dare do this... would he?

At the time of writing, Jonathan Majors remains in the role of Kang the Conqueror, but with the actor being let go by his talent agency and removed from various upcoming projects, it feels like only a matter of time before it comes out that Marvel Studios has likewise parted ways with the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania star. The question then becomes: who will threaten all of reality in his stead? Fans have already come up with a bevy of potential big bads, but this new pitch might be the wildest we’ve yet heard.

If Majors was removed from the part, it could give Marvel an opportunity to go in a totally different direction with the villain, perhaps borrowing from a unique incarnation of the character from the comics. So goes the inspiration for a truly mind-blowing fan cast from a radical Redditor that suggests Fantastic Four actress Jessica Alba should play a female variant of Kang, as per the depiction of the antagonist in the Ultimate Comics universe.

In the Ultimate universe, a female Kang — later unmasked as the Invisible Woman — traveled from a dark future to the present, determined to do all she could to prevent the destruction of Earth, a single-minded ambition that led her to assemble the Infinity Stones. Fans are always asking for Chris Evans to come back as his Human Torch or even Ioan Gruffudd to cameo as Reed Richards, but it would be an epic twist if Marvel instead brought Alba back into the fold as a truly villainous Sue Storm.

Even if Marvel wants to maintain some continuity with whoever theoretically takes over as Kang, this Fantastic Four-flavored development is still worth an inclusion in either Avengers: The Kang Dynasty or Secret Wars. After all, Marvel’s initial plan to have every Kang played by Majors is already shooting them into the foot so the franchise needs to open up its doors to letting multiple actors occupy the character.
