‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ season 2’s opening is here and there’s plenty to get excited about

Another banger has arrived.

Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 is just hours away, but before its premiere fans have been given a glimpse at one the most highly anticipated portions of any anime — the opening.

The Hidden Inventory arc is about to kick off and the show’s new opening highlights its main figures, namely Gojo and Geto. This arc takes place in the past and tells a story about these two JJK mainstays before the series picks up.

In this opening, we see the first Jujutsu Kaisen season opening mirrored with the water drop before venturing off into all new scenes. Of course, there is a fresh new song to jam out to, but it might not have the same addictive flavor that KaiKai Kitan had. I guess we’ll need to wait and see how it grows on us.

What song is the Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 opening?

Tatsuya Kitani handled the opening tune for this new season with their song “Where Our Blue Is.” This song does a great job of capturing that familiar playful, yet serious JJK tone and fits great with the awesome visuals from MAPPA.

It isn’t yet 100 percent clear, but we will seemingly only be getting this specific opening for the duration of the season’s first arc, which is meant to run around five episodes. Once we move on into the present with the Shibuya Incident arc, expect to see a new intro take its place.

With this being the case, now’s the time to enjoy and you’ll get to see this new opening in all of its glory when Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 kicks off on July 6.
