Donald Trump just bragged about keeping underage ‘staff’, and everyone finally connected the dots

Another chapter in a controversial past.

Donald Trump made shocking comments aboard Air Force One on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, providing his most detailed account yet of how his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein ended.

The remarks have created new questions about what Trump knew regarding Epstein’s illegal activities at his Mar-a-Lago resort. During the press conference, Trump confirmed that Epstein recruited young women who worked at Mar-a-Lago’s spa. When reporters asked if the workers included young women, Trump clearly stated, “The answer is yes, they were.” He specifically named Virginia Giuffre as one of the women Epstein took from his property, saying, “He stole her.”

Trump described how he banned Epstein from Mar-a-Lago after discovering the recruitment activities. “I told him we don’t want you taking our people, whether it was spa or not spa,” Trump said. “He did it again, I said out of here.” However, critics note that Trump’s timeline and knowledge of events raise serious questions about his involvement and awareness of Epstein’s trafficking network.

Trump’s troubling pattern of sexual misconduct allegations spans decades

These latest revelations come against the backdrop of Trump’s long history of sexual misconduct allegations. At least 18 women have accused Donald Trump of varying inappropriate behavior, including allegations of sexual harassment or sexual assault over the years.

The most significant legal consequence came in 2023 when a jury found Trump liable for sexually abusing E. Jean Carroll. A judge later stated that the jury had found Trump had raped Carroll according to the common definition, with the former model’s account providing additional evidence of Trump’s pattern of sexual misconduct. Trump was ordered to pay Carroll $83.3 million in damages in January 2024, one of the largest awards in such cases.

Virginia Giuffre, whom Trump acknowledged worked at his spa before being recruited by Epstein, went public with her allegations against Epstein in 2011, joining other women who have detailed disturbing encounters involving both Trump and the convicted sex trafficker. She became one of the most prominent accusers in the Epstein case, alleging she was trafficked by Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell when she was a minor. Giuffre’s testimony helped expose the full scope of Epstein’s trafficking network.

Trump’s admission that young women worked at his spa and were subsequently recruited by Epstein has raised new concerns about potential knowledge of illegal activities. Legal experts note that employers typically have responsibility for the safety and welfare of their staff, particularly young employees.

The timing of these comments is notable as the Trump administration was attempting to move past the controversy surrounding the release of Jeffrey Epstein files. Instead, Trump’s detailed acknowledgment of the recruitment activities at his property has created fresh scrutiny of his relationship with the convicted sex offender and what he may have known about the trafficking operation.
