With talk of Deadpool 2 seriously starting to heat up now, it’s only appropriate to explore some of the character’s story arcs that deserve to be on the silver screen. From his surprisingly tragic romance with Death to fighting an evil version of himself, the Merc with a Mouth has an abundance of source material that would make for cinematic gold.
Being an incredibly versatile character, Wade Wilson could work into most scenarios as long as he has the opportunity to be absurd and make witty one-liners. Whilst not all of these storylines are possible due to character rights, it’s always good to remain hopeful – everybody thought the same with Spider-Man and The Avengers not too long ago, remember?
So, without further ado, here are six Deadpool storylines that would be well suited for the upcoming sequel.
