With filming on Daredevil season 2 now well underway, the show’s Twitter account has Tweeted a tantalizing new photo of the titular hero’s suit. It doesn’t offer much in the way of clues as to what to expect from the upcoming set of episodes, but it’s still enough of a tease to whet our appetites as we wait patiently for Matt Murdock’s return.
Speaking of his return, big things are in store for the character next year, as both Elektra and The Punisher have been confirmed to be making appearances, played by Elodie Yung and Jon Bernthal, respectively.
The inclusion of those two alone is enough of a reason for fans to be giddy with anticipation to see what the showrunners have in store for them, and with promises of a bigger and darker Hell’s Kitchen for Matt to play around in, there’s no doubting that Marvel’s super successful Netflix show is going to, once again, be the talk of the town once it returns.
Daredevil will premiere its season season on Netflix at some point in 2016. When an exact date has been locked down, we’ll be sure to let you know.
