The CW has released a brand new promo poster for The Flash, and as you can see, it features The Fastest Man Alive standing tall with the all-new Firestorm in the background. However, I do find it a little strange that Firestorm is shown separate to Dr. Martin Stein (Victor Garber) as they’re supposed to be combining to create the new version of that fiery hero after Ronnie Raymond’s disappearance.
If you’re wondering who that is on the right, it’s Franz Drameh, an actor who will make his debut in next week’s episode as Jefferson “Jax” Jackson. He’ll then go on to star in DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.
An obscure character from the comic books, Jax is going to be teaming up with Stein in The Flash to become the new Firestorm, and you can learn more about him by clicking here to check out the promo for “The Fury of Firestorm.” The reason they’re not shown together in the above poster no doubt has something to do with a bit of artistic license rather than some sort of surprising spoiler.
Of course, with the recent arrival of the Earth-2 Harrison Wells, most viewers are looking forward to seeing how that plays out in next week’s episode of The Flash, but this still looks set to be a good one for Firestorm fans.
