7 Spectacular Superhero Romances

For many, there is nothing like relaxing in the arms of the one you love after a hard day at work. For many, there is nothing like relaxing in the arms of the one you love after a hard day at work. Spending time with that special someone, who helps you forget all the stresses and strains of the daily grind, can be invaluable for re-charging the batteries. In this respect, superheroes are just like the rest of us. They may not all bleed when you prick them, but they do all seem to need a little tender loving care from time to time.

Motivated by the heart, and a desire to remain available for canoodling, he submits himself for experimentation, and winds up a self-aware, unhinged mutant with enviable regenerative abilities, and a bad case of verbal diarrhoea. Who doesn’t love the conflicted, well-intentioned, brooding, take-action type – even if they’re never around when you need someone to keep your feet warm while you watch the telly? In reality, there is always the secret concern that they would be like the local plumber or electrician – so busy solving everyone else’s problems that you are left home alone with unresolved energy surges and leaky pipes. But, as with most things in life, it is the idea of it that is romantic – as we can see as we take a Valentine’s Day-inspired, practical glance through some of our favourite superhero romances in film.
