It feels like just yesterday that we were sitting down in theatres to watch Star Wars: The Force Awakens, doesn’t it? Believe it or not, it’s coming up on a year since its release, and in several months’ time, we’ll soon be able to check out the highly anticipated Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, the very first of several planned Anthology films.
Being a spinoff and not a direct sequel to The Force Awakens, it means that Gareth Edwards’ upcoming movie is set to introduce us to a whole bunch of new characters, who will be brought to life by a cast that includes Felicity Jones, Donnie Yen, Forest Whitaker, Riz Ahmed and many more. That’s quite the roster of talent, and we’re giddy with anticipation to see what they can bring to the film.
And so, with Rogue One: A Star Wars Story quickly approaching, we decided it’d be a good time to recap some of the new faces you’ll be meeting this Winter. From Jones’ Jyn Erso to Ahmed’s Bodhi Rook, in the video above you’ll find 5 characters that you’d best start getting familiar with if you’re hoping to check out the first of these Anthology films.
