We only have four days to go now until Marvel’s flagship TV series, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., returns to our screens, and promotion has kicked into high gear this week. Following a Ghost Rider-centric promo, ABCÂ has released the first few minutes of Tuesday’s season premiere, “The Ghost,” and it re-introduces some very familiar faces right off the bat.
After several weeks “in the air,” we see Coulson and Mack rejoin May, who appears to be in the process of training those new recruits we’ve heard about. After a bit of small talk, we get right down to it: their former teammate Daisy (Chloe Bennet) is suspected of using her powers to take out civilians, and the armed forces have orders to kill her on sight. We also learn that the media have begun to refer to the troubled Inhuman as Quake – which actually marks the first time she’s been referenced by her Marvel Comics code name on the show.
Will Quake’s friends reach her before the authorities? Something tells me a certain vengeance-fueled third party might get the jump on both of them.
In addition to the footage, we also have some stylish new character banners, which spotlight core team members Coulson, May, Mack, Daisy, Fitz and Simmons, as well as  season 3 blow-ins Dr. Holden Radcliffe and Yo-Yo Rodriguez. You can check them out below.
