10 Live-Action Characters That Look Nothing Like Their Comic Book Counterparts

While we're blessed with an endless plethora of comic book characters on the big and small screen, there's also a fair amount of them that look nothing like they're supposed to. In fact, if it weren't for the name, we'd probably not recognize them at all.

Fine. It’s a super lame joke, but there’s a lot of truth in it. While we’re blessed with an endless plethora of comic book characters on the big and small screen, there’s also a fair amount of them that look nothing like they’re supposed to. In fact, if it weren’t for the name, we’d probably not recognize them at all.

In some cases, the changes have actually been beneficial to the characters and improved their appearances (i.e. the black costumes in the original X-Men). While others have only solidified what we’ve strongly suspected about Hollywood: no one understands the source material, nor do they care.
