Following on from the previous installment, Barry Allen has asked his friends to try and clear the name of his new pal Big Sir/Dave (Bill Goldberg). As they investigate, Cisco, Ralph and Joe come across Sylbert Rundin (Derek Mars), a supervillain known as Dwarfstar in the comics, who leaves them at a fraction of their size. Obviously, we’ll have to wait for the episode itself to see this effect in action, but the photo showing Joe looking at the ground seems to depict the moment they’re shrunk.

Elsewhere, the pics give us a look at Joe and Cecile having a chat at the West house and then going for a couples therapy session. The official synopsis for the episode reveals what this hiccup in their relationship could be about: as a weird quirk of being pregnant in the metahuman-filled Central City, Cecile will temporarily develop telepathic powers. This will apparently start a trend for supporting characters gaining abilities for a week, as recent set photos show that Iris West will become a speedster for a day in an upcoming episode.

For more, here’s the plot summary for “Honey, I Shrunk Team Flash”:

A meta who can shrink anything he touches battles Team Flash. Cisco (Carlos Valdes) and Ralph (guest star Hartley Sawyer) get caught in his crossfire and are shrunk to miniature versions of themselves.

Cecile (guest star Danielle Nicolet) realizes her pregnancy has caused her to have temporary powers and discovers she can hear other people’s thoughts, which unnerves Joe (Jesse L. Martin). Meanwhile, Barry (Grant Gustin) meets someone with a mysterious connection to Henry Allen.

The Flash 4×12 “Honey, I Shrunk Team Flash” airs on The CW on January 30th.
