How Vision Could Return To Life In WandaVision

The folks over at ScreenRant have put together an intriguing theory for how Vision may return to life in the upcoming WandaVision.

Long before Avengers: Infinity War arrived, many had assumed that Paul Bettany’s Vision wouldn’t make it to the end. It was a reasonable assumption, too, as having part of your brain be an Infinity Stone obviously isn’t an ideal situation when Thanos is trying to wipe out half of all life in the universe.

Unfortunately, those predictions turned out to be accurate, as the finale of the movie saw Wanda tragically having to euthanize her lover, only for Thanos to then go ahead and reverse time and tear the stone from his head. This is why folks are now a bit confused about the fact that Vision is set to return in the Disney Plus show WandaVision.

However, there are a few ways that Marvel can make it work and the folks over at ScreenRant have put together some theories on how Bettany’s character may end up returning, starting with the fact that Scarlet Witch could recreate him using her Mind Stone powers. As one of the most powerful beings in the MCU, it wouldn’t be outside the realm of possibility to see her do this. After all, she was nearly able to defeat Thanos in Endgame, so who’s to say she couldn’t recreate her lover?

As ScreenRant puts it:

The last time Vision was seen was in Wakanda at the end of Infinity War, and it’s possible his android body remains in the technologically advanced African nation. Wanda could travel to Wakanda for Vision, who could be physically repaired by Shuri (Letitia Wright). While there is no Mind Stone to give Vision consciousness, Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) theorized that there was enough of JARVIS, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) and his own memory engrams in the android for him to function independently.

But what’s even more interesting is what the outlet writes next, as they bring up the idea of what if Vision is just Wanda’s vision? Perhaps the character isn’t really back in the land of the living and is instead only alive in Scarlet Witch’s head. It’d certainly fit with the show’s odd title, and we wouldn’t put it past Wanda to somehow recreate Vision in her mind so that she could still have him around in some capacity.

Of course, then there’s the possibility that the hero returns either via time travel or something to do with the multiverse, two options that ScreenRant explores in depth as well. You can head on over to their full piece via the link below but they certainly bring up some good points and if one thing’s for sure, it’s that Marvel has a whole load of options available to them at the moment when it comes to resurrecting Vision for WandaVision.
