According to TVO of Lords of the Long Box, Kevin Feige’s setting up a meeting with a 20-something actor who’s appeared in a Christopher Nolan movie. The topic of the meeting, we’re told, is Nova. We don’t know the identity of this young star, but CosmicBookNews has suggested a couple of possible contenders: Dunkirk‘s Harry Styles and Fionn Whitehead.

Styles’ One Direction days might be behind him, but he looks to have a big Hollywood career in his future. He recently reportedly turned down an offer by Disney to play Prince Eric in The Little Mermaid remake, so it’s feasible that Marvel got hold of him instead to talk about Nova. There is the Disney connection there, after all.

Whitehead likewise would make sense. Rumors from a few months back suggested Marvel had hired him to play a young Loki in the upcoming Disney Plus series. We now know Tom Hiddleston will be reprising his role on the show, so we’re not sure if that previous intel was sound or not. However, if he was on their radar and their Loki plans changed, then they could invite Whitehead back to audition for Nova instead.

Of course, the Russos recently teased that Nova was secretly in Avengers: Endgame, though that was ultimately revealed as a joke. It’s unknown where he’ll actually show up, then, but Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 seems like a strong possibility. Nothing concrete’s been revealed as yet, though, so in the meantime, feel free to drop your picks for who should play Nova and how he should debut in the comments section below.
