VELD Music Festival Rocks Downsview Park
This past weekend, Toronto played host to one of the largest EDM festivals that the country has ever seen. Over the span of two days (August 4th and 5th), twenty five thousand people congregated in Downsview Park for the VELD Music Festival. Headlined by Avicii and Deadmau5, the festival featured a number of the world's top DJs, spread across multiple stages, in what was one of the summer's hottest parties.

Bane’s Origin Scene Was Cut From The Dark Knight Rises
One of the things that I really didn't like about The Dark Knight Rises is that it skimped on a deep origin/backstory for the main villain, Bane. We got a bit, but not nearly enough and I, like many others, was left wanting more. Apparently though, according to costume designer Lindy Hemming who recently spoke with GQ, this wasn't always the case. There actually was some backstory that they filmed but unfortunately, it was cut.

Lionsgate May Reboot The Saw Franchise
Bloody Disgusting is reporting that Lionsgate may not be done with the Saw franchise just yet. Despite what the subtitle for Saw VII was (in case you forget it was subtitled The Final Chapter), we may be getting yet another film in the once great and now horrid series.

Final Dredd 3D Poster Released
Dredd 3D has been seeing quite the bump in popularity lately. Though it was first dismissed as a pointless remake, and then written off as a rip-off of The Raid: Redemption, the recent screening at Comic-Con has put the film in a complete 180 spin.
