The project first started to pick up momentum when it was announced that Michael Fassbender would star. Then we heard that James McAvoy was joining. Now, Twitch tells us that Fassbender has dropped out and Boyle wants Colin Firth.

Vinny Guadagnino Leaves Jersey Shore
Vinny Guadagnino has reportedly left MTV's Jersey Shore. According to TMZ, after getting into a heated argument with another cast member, Vinny bolted from the house and returned home to Staten Island. He had recently complained about feeling "burned out" and being "homesick".

Did Michael Bay Rip Off His Own Film?
Ever since Transformers: Dark Of The Moon hit theatres, there has been a buzz surrounding two shots. Many moviegoers were claiming that director Michael Bay had inserted shots from his film The Island into Transformers: Dark Of The Moon. The two shots in question both took place during the highway chase and keen observers claimed that Bay had ripped them right out of The Island.

Unknown Blu-Ray Review
Unknown throws Liam Neeson back into a role that introduced him to a whole new generation. The part he plays here is almost identical to the one that he took on in Taken, a film in which Neeson plays a seemingly normal man who is thrust into a dangerous situation and is forced to become a killer. It's a part that Neeson is good at and one that the producers on Unknown clearly wanted to cash in on.

Catherine Hardwicke Will Work With Noomi Rapace On A Boxing Film
/Film is reporting that director Catherine Hardwicke is looking to work with actress Noomi Rapace on a boxing film revolving around Swedish boxer Bo “Bosse” Hogberg. Rapace and her ex-husband Ola Rapace have been attached to the project for a while and Ola is set to play Hogberg while Rapace will take the role of Hogberg's wife, Anita Lindblom.

Kurt Wimmer Will Write A Point Break Remake
Twitch is reporting that writer Kurt Wimmer will be penning a script for the Point Break remake. Wimmer, who somehow keeps managing to score projects despite the fact that he usually writes bad films, will be working on the script for producers RGM Entertainment. While the core story will be the same, instead of revolving around surfing and skydiving, Wimmer's script will centre on surfing and skiing.

Deadline is reporting that actor/comedian Chris Rock is joining the upcoming film What To Expect When You're Expecting. He'll play a man named Vic, "the head of a group of expectant fathers who lectures them on what it's really like to have a baby and become a father." Rock joins a cast that includes Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Lopez, Brooklyn Decker and Anna Kendrick.

The Warrior’s Way Blu-Ray Review
The Warrior’s Way, written and directed by Sngmoo Lee, is a mixture of a Chinese fantasy, Seven Samurai, a western, an action film and a cartoon. It’s an odd film that doesn’t always work so well. It blends a number of genres in an ambitious attempt to feel unique and different. While I admire Lee’s vision and what he was trying to do, I think he bit off more than he can chew and the end result is a haphazard mess that aside from a few cool fight scenes, doesn’t offer a whole lot.
