Details on Christopher Nolan's next film, Interstellar, are currently few and far between. Other than a basic plot synopsis and the fact the original script was written by his brother, Jonathan, we really don't know a whole lot about the film. Today however, we have the first bit of casting information and it's an intriguing possibility to think about. Matthew McConaughey has reportedly been offered been offered the lead role of Cooper.
It seems we can't go a whole day without some news about The Amazing Spider-Man 2. This is due in part to Marc Webb's daily Twitter updates about the film, but it's also being greatly helped along by the incredible excitement fans are already showing for the next adventure of everyone's favorite web-slinging hero. Today's news is of the casting sort, and fairly unexpected. Webb has Tweeted a picture of B.J. Novak with the caption "Day 38. A supposed rumor about a Dunder-Mifflin takeover of Oscorp?"
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 still has over a year until it hits theatres, but speculation about the film is in full force as fans try to dissect every bit of information they can glimpse about Peter Parker's next story.
This week's episode of How I Met Your Mother had yet another tease where viewers were forced to sit with bated breath anxiously hoping for a glimpse of Ted's future wife, a.k.a. "the mother". Of course, she wasn't actually shown, which means for at least another week fans will have to wait for this mysterious woman's reveal. Well, it now turns out that it's going to be more than just another week, as it has been confirmed that the reveal of the mother won't happen until season 9.
Yesterday we got the first glimpse at footage from The Wolverine in a six second teaser that director James Mangold Tweeted. That footage didn't really have anything all that revealing, and it was almost too quick to make sense out of anything except the awesome sound of adamantium claws on samurai swords. Today's teaser, while still not as much as fans want to see, provides 20 seconds of footage and the first actual dialogue heard from the film.
Well that was... weird.
I think it's safe to say that The Time Travelers is by far the most peculiar episode of How I Met Your Mother, or at least should be in consideration for the honor. This episode brings together sci-fi elements, possible mental disorders, and the quickest turn from cartoonish to depressing ever, yet it all surprisingly fits.
This week the first trailer for The Wolverine will finally hit the web and theaters, but in the meantime we've got a new teaser for the film showing the first footage of Hugh Jackman in his next appearance as the titular character.
Well this is quite the disturbing trend forming. After Leonardo DiCaprio said he was planning to take an extended leave from acting, Channing Tatum decided on a similar path. The newest to join the actors-on-break club is Hollywood heartthrob Ryan Gosling.
In This Is 40 Graham Parker plays a rock star who is signed by Pete's record label and ultimately isn't able to make anywhere near the amount of money that Pete had hoped. What some younger fans may not know is that Parker isn't simply an actor, but rather he's the lead man of Graham Parker and the Rumour, a popular British band of the late '70s and early '80s.
Twitter is a wonderful thing. It really is. It allows fans to catch a glimpse into the thoughts and day-to-day activities of their favorite actors and directors and it allows the film media an opportunity to have access to news that previously would've been impossible to get unless we were on set ourselves.
