Cole Becomes An Electrified Vampire In inFAMOUS 2: Festival Of Blood

Cole from inFAMOUS is not going to only be an electrified superhero (or villain) any longer. With the upcoming release of inFAMOUS 2: Festival of Blood this October, he will be turned into an electrified vampire. In this new entry into the popular sandbox series, Cole has been bitten by a sect of vampires that has infested the city of New Merais. In order to save himself and the city, he must find the head vampire before night ends. It'll be interesting to see how his electric powers affect the evil bloodsuckers.

DICE Reveals Battlefield 3 Co-Op Plus New Screens

One of the biggest announcements from today's Gamescom press conferences is the fact that Battlefield 3 will feature co-operative missions. During Electronic Arts' press conference, Patrick Soderlund and Karl Magnus (both from DICE), revealed the new teamwork mode. They took to the stage and infiltrated a virtual building full of artificial intelligence enemies. It's a mission that is playable on the show floor at Electronic Arts' booth, with an objective asking players to rescue an important target from capture. The end goal, as can be expected, is to escort him to safety.

Gearbox Software has released its brief teaser trailer for Borderlands 2, which is chocked full of badass flavour. There isn't any new gameplay included but instead, we're treated to a thirty second long CG scene. However, it still does a good job of making us want the game even more.
