CD Projekt RED Hid A Secret Message In The Cyberpunk 2077 Trailer

CD Projekt RED released a teaser trailer for their new title Cyberpunk 2077 game earlier today, and while the game is still early in development, it’s hard not to get excited. We really can’t take very much away from it at this point outside of taking in the overall atmosphere of the title, but CD Projekt RED seems to have a very in-depth world waiting for us. However, it wouldn’t be a proper CD Projekt RED trailer without some hidden message, and sharp eyes will find a wall of text waiting for them near the end of the video as long as they don’t blink. To save you the time and energy of trying to isolate that one frame, we’ve taken the liberty of writing out the message in an easier to read format. Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 Misses The Mark On Latest Release Date, Pushed Back To March

Snipers are usually known for their accuracy. I mean, if you really want to get down to it, that’s the only thing they’re really known for. Their entire job comes down being able to hit a target from a pretty big distance. It takes precision planning and marksmanship to make sure that a plan comes together perfectly and that they hit the mark perfectly. It’s impossible to tell just what type of game Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 will turn out to be, but I think it’s fairly safe to say precision isn’t exactly its forte.

Retro City Rampage Will Finally Hit XBLA This Wednesday

I can’t think of another game that has had more release window issues than Retro City Rampage has since its initial announcement. Originally slated for WiiWare as well as some “undisclosed consoles”, the XBLA version was announced shortly after and was set to be the first version available. Then, seemingly out of nowhere, the PC/PS Vita and PS3 versions were released before any of the others. If nothing else, it’s been interesting to watch.

Baldur’s Gate Enhanced Edition Review

Although Baldur's Gate still stands out as one of the best RPG experiences ever created, the Enhanced Edition offers little purchase incentive as opposed to the original. Newcomers to the franchise won't be disappointed, but they may be better served purchasing and modding the original game for half the cost.

Defend The Motherland In Company Of Heroes 2

I’ve been watching Company of Heroes 2 for a while now. The sequel to one of my favorite RTS games ever created was announced shortly before the E3 conference this year, but due to THQ’s recent financial woes we weren’t able to see much of the game in action. In their latest trailer, we’re given a quick glance of what we can expect when the German and Soviet forces clash in the motherland during the final crescendo of World War II.

Primal Carnage Misses The Mark With Its First DLC

It’s no secret that I really enjoy Primal Carnage even though the core gameplay is fundamentally flawed. While team deathmatch doesn’t really work with asymmetrical teams, the idea of running around as a dinosaur biting people in half is enough to make my inner five year old squee with joy. When I heard that Reverb Games was releasing some DLC for the game, I was really hoping that they finally were able to squeeze in the objective based game modes that could easily take this from a “good” game to a “great” game. Instead of that, I’ve been gifted the ability to make my dinosaurs different colors.

Is The Phantom Pain An Elaborate Ruse To Announce Metal Gear Solid V?

Ladies and gentlemen, let the rampant speculation begin. Those of you who turned into the VGA awards were privy to a trailer from Konami announcing their brand new IP entitled The Phantom Pain. Normally, this would merit a quick blurb and promises to look into the title more when there was some more meat on the bones, but internet dwellers felt there was something suspicious about the announcement. The mulleted protagonist in the trailer was showing hiding and crawling around the hospital, drawing immediate comparisons to the Metal Gear Solid franchise. With that, just like a plague of locusts, nerds everywhere took to their keyboards carefully dissecting every piece of information they could uncover about the project. While none of this has been confirmed, what has been uncovered could be the single greatest example of a subversive marketing scheme the industry has ever seen.

I decide to finally go to bed at a reasonable hour for a change to fight off this mutant flu that's been plaguing me, and the second my head hits the pillow my phone goes nuts. From Software surprised us all, and sent parts of the internet into an absolute uproar, when Dark Souls 2 was shown during the 2012 Video Game Awards.
