Future Marvel Movies Will Release On Premier Access, Says Box Office Expert
After multiple delays, Marvel finally elected to release Black Widow simultaneously in both theaters and on Disney Plus this July, but it's a move that's come back to bite them. Star Scarlett Johansson is suing the company, alleging that the streaming release breached her contract. Sure enough, Marvel won't be pulling the same strategy with September's Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, which will open exclusively in cinemas.

Eternals Final Trailer Reveals First Look At Celestials
Marvel debuted the final trailer for Eternals early this Thursday morning, which gave us our best look yet at what we can expect from Oscar-winning director Chloe Zhao's unique MCU movie. The ensemble piece will follow a group of superpowered immortals who've never been mentioned in the franchise before now. But the same isn't true of the godlike race who created them, the Celestials. And this new trailer just delivered our first glimpse at them in the film.

She-Hulk Has Finished Filming, Confirms Stunt Coordinator
The latest Marvel Studios TV series in the works has wrapped filming. She-Hulk will mark the live-action debut of Jennifer Walters, cousin to Bruce Banner who inherits his rage problems after an emergency blood transfusion. Orphan Black star Tatiana Maslany occupies the title role in the series, which is being pitched as a half-hour legal comedy, so it sounds like the show will put the focus on Jen's day job as a lawyer.

Birds Of Prey Is Reportedly Getting A Spinoff Project
DC clearly had high hopes for Birds of Prey - (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn), to give it its full title - but unfortunately it fell short of commercial expectations when it released last February. Despite its warm critical reception, the studio weren't incentivized to fast-track a sequel to the all-female action ensemble flick and it's currently unclear where Margot Robbie's Harley will turn up next, after The Suicide Squad.

Michael Keaton Says He Understands Batman Better Thanks To The Flash
Though fans can hardly believe it's really happening, Michael Keaton is returning to the DC universe as his Batman in next year's The Flash movie. It will have been 30 years since he originally starred as Bruce Wayne in Tim Burton's Batman (1989) and its sequel Batman Returns (1992), so Keaton's comeback has been a long time coming. And it seems his role in the Scarlet Speedster's solo film has helped the actor gain a deeper understanding of the Dark Knight.

A mediocre Johnny Depp film is headed to Disney Plus next month, but while it's not one of the actor's best ever films it's still one of his most seen. On September 10th, the House of Mouse's streaming service is adding 2011's Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides to its library. The fourth entry in the nautical action-adventure blockbuster series, it's currently the only outing for Captain Jack Sparrow not on the platform so fans will be pleased to see it return, after disappearing from D+ last year.

What If…? Hints At A Dark Fate For The Avengers In Alternate Timeline
Marvel's What If...? continued with its second episode today, and it generally depicted an almost Utopian version of the MCU timeline. Thanks to the central change that T'Challa had been abducted by Yondu instead of Peter Quill, the Wakandan Star-Lord had helped make the galaxy a fairer place, stealing from the rich and corrupt and giving it to the poor. He even managed to reform Thanos, thereby preventing the events of Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame.

Chadwick Boseman Was Excited To Play T’Challa Without ‘The Weight Of The Crown’
The second episode of Marvel's What If...? debuted today, and this otherwise comedy-adventure animation was leant an unexpected dose of poignancy thanks to the involvement of Chadwick Boseman. As the Black Panther star passed away last year, the series marks his final time playing T'Challa, even if it's a very different version of the Wakandan hero.
