Christian Bone is a Staff Writer/Editor at We Got This Covered. Since graduating with a Creative Writing degree from the University of Winchester, he has been cluttering up the internet with his thoughts on movies and TV for over a decade. The MCU is his comfort place but, if you asked him, he'd probably say his favorite superhero film is The Incredibles.

Disney Plus Added 8 New Movies/TV Shows Today
It's Friday, and that means it's time for the latest haul of new titles to hit Disney Plus. Similar to last week's load, this October 9th delivers a decent batch of fresh content, including a bunch of new TV episodes, some National Geographic documentaries and, most notably, a couple of classic movies, such as another one of Fox's X-Men films. The best of the lot, in fact.

Two TNG Stars Returned In Star Trek: Lower Decks’ Season Finale
The season finale of Star Trek: Lower Decks dropped today and it featured a couple of cameos from two franchise favorites. Despite its irreverent sense of humor, the animated series has always displayed a deep love for the Trek universe, featuring endless easter eggs, references and connections to make fans happy. And in the debut run's final outing, titled "No Small Parts," we discovered that the show saved perhaps its best treat for last.

Benedict Cumberbatch Returning As Doctor Strange In Spider-Man 3
Peter Parker has found his latest superhero mentor, as Benedict Cumberbatch has signed up to reprise his role as Doctor Strange in Spider-Man 3. Since the wallcrawler swung his way into the MCU, Tom Holland's Spidey has always been guided by more experienced Avengers. Iron Man obviously played this part throughout his initial appearances but he also teamed up with Nick Fury (or his Skrull double) in Spider-Man: Far From Home. Next, it's Stephen Strange's turn to show the kid the ropes.

Kate Mulgrew Returning As Captain Janeway In Star Trek: Prodigy
Voyager fans, rejoice! Kate Mulgrew is returning as Captain Kathryn Janeway in upcoming animated series Star Trek: Prodigy. Mulgrew played the role, the first female lead in the franchise's history, across Voyager's seven year run from 1995-2001 but has not portrayed the fan favorite character in nearly two decades. Following Patrick Stewart's big comeback in Star Trek: Picard, though, there's been some buzz that maybe Mulgrew would follow suit and now we know it's actually happening.

Ruby Rose Explains Why She Left Batwoman After One Season
Arrowverse fans were stunned when it was announced back in May that Ruby Rose had elected to leave Batwoman after just one season. Instead, Rose has moved on to other things and the series will continue with Javicia Leslie as new lead character Ryan Wilder.

Superman & Lois Theory Says Only One Of The Kents’ Sons Will Have Powers
A compelling new Superman & Lois theory suggests that only one of the Kents' sons will inherit their father's superpowers. In the pre-Crisis timeline, Clark and Lois had just become parents to their baby boy Jonathan. Once the multiverse was rebooted, though, Clark discovered that he was now a dad to two 13-year old twins - Jonathan (Jordan Elsass) and Jordan (Alex Garfin). This is a big change from the comics, but it's possible that we can still look to them for answers on how the boys will be depicted.
