First American Horror Story Season 10 Poster Teases New Scares
2020 has been a crappy year for many reasons, one of them being that it's the first year since 2011 that we didn't get a new season of American Horror Story. As you can probably guess, COVID-19 caused production to stall and it was pushed back to sometime in 2021. The shoot was scheduled to finally begin last month in Provincetown, Massachusetts, though I can't find any confirmation online that this happened.

Netflix’s Death Note Writers Explain Why They Went With A New Story
Netflix's 2017 movie Death Note has a bad reputation. Fans of the manga and anime resented the story being Americanized, character motivations and arcs being altered, and the subtle changes to the cosmology of the universe. Despite this, the film did very well, with producer Ted Sarandos revealing that it had been a "sizeable" success for the streaming platform.

The Mandalorian Fans Have Figured Out The Identity Of The Ice Planet
In its season 2 premiere, The Mandalorian took us to the familiar dunes of Tatooine. The latest episode flipped things, though, finding Mando marooned underground on a frozen ice planet and pursued by a horde of arachnophobia inducing spiders. It was another rollercoaster adventure, with the added pressure of getting a passenger and her eggs to her husband before they both freeze (or before Baby Yoda gobbles them all up). There was a lot to like here, with my personal highlight being seeing New Republic X-Wing pilots as space cops and the incredibly ominous way they locked their S-foils in attack position.

Last month we learned that Terminator star and former Governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger had gone under the knife for yet another in his long history of heart problems. This began back in 1997 when he underwent a pulmonary valve replacement to correct a congenital disorder. As planned, that replacement valve wore out, so in 2018, he had that replaced and just a few weeks ago went back into surgery to have a new aortic valve installed.
