The Mandalorian Season 3 May Begin Shooting Next Week
We've only two episodes into The Mandalorian's second run, but the wheels are already spinning on the season 3 shoot. Deadline is reporting that pre-production on the third outing - codenamed 'Buccaneer' - has taken place over the last few months and Jon Favreau is hoping to get back on set very soon. 'Soon' may be an understatement, however, as insiders are hinting that the shoot might commence as early as next week.

The New Hope Droid That Had A Cameo In The Mandalorian Saved The Galaxy
Longtime Star Wars fans are used to spotting easter eggs in The Mandalorian, with the season 2 opener full of cool nods to TV shows, movies and games from across the franchise. One of the nicest was an appearance from R5-D4, the red and white astromech droid that Luke and Uncle Owen initially purchased from the Jawas in an early scene in A New Hope. But just as R5 was rolling towards the homestead, his motivator blew, causing Luke to choose R2-D2 instead.

Marvel Will Reportedly Confirm Loki Is Bisexual In The MCU
In news that probably shouldn't come as a surprise, Marvel Studios are planning to confirm that Loki is bisexual in his upcoming Disney+ solo series. This was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but now seems to be back in production for an air date in early 2021. Despite a lack of any footage and promotional material, reports from the show strongly suggest it'll take place in a variety of time periods and have a number of different actors as Loki.

The Mandalorian is known for its fun Star Wars references and the second seasoner opener was full of them. The plot revolved around Boba Fett's half-digested armor, Cobb Vance was using one of Anakin Skywalker’s podracer engines from The Phantom Menace as his ride, Boba himself briefly appeared and we got a cool cameo from R5-D4, the astromech droid first seen in A New Hope.

Johnny Depp’s Brand Is Reportedly Tainted Now In Hollywood
Yesterday's ruling by the High Court looks set to have major ramifications for Johnny Depp. The judge found that twelve out of fourteen of Amber Heard's allegations of assault could be proved to the civil standard and that The Sun newspaper was not being libellous when it referred to him as a "wife beater." Depp's legal team - who said the judgment was "as perverse as it is bewildering" - has confirmed that he plans to appeal, but right now things are looking pretty dire for him.
