Disneyland May Be Facing A $2 Billion Loss Due To COVID-19
It's been a tough year for The Walt Disney Company. Theaters are empty, blockbusters are delayed, merchandise sales are way down and visiting a theme park is a potential death sentence. Throughout 2020, they've tried to figure out ways to mitigate the effects of COVID-19, reopening some of their parks with closed rides, social distancing in place and antiviral measures. It didn't go so well, though, with the ensuing promotional videos widely dubbed as creepy and the company being condemned as irresponsible.

Disney Reveals Cast For LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special
The 1978 Star Wars Holiday Special is one of the most mystifying, surreal and awful things I've ever seen. It follows Chewbacca's family on Kashyyyk as they celebrate Life Day and topped the list in the book What Were They Thinking?: The 100 Dumbest Events in Television History, which dubbed it "the worst two hours of TV ever." They're not kidding. Now, Disney and Lucasfilm have bravely announced a follow-up in the form of LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special.

Mallrats 2 Confirmed To Unite Entire Original Cast And Shoot In 2021
1996's Mallrats was critically skewered and bombed at the box office. Snooty critics may have been put off by the comic book references, stoner humor and stink palms, but to a generation of teenagers, it became a cult classic. Director Kevin Smith went on to have the last laugh and now plans are coming together for Mallrats 2 (which may end up being called either Twilight of the Mallrats or Mallrats Too).

Lucasfilm Reportedly Eyeing Dave Bautista To Play Darth Bane
There are currently multiple Star Wars movies in development at Lucasfilm. The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson is still (theoretically) working on his trilogy, Thor: Ragnarok‘s Taika Waititi has his own film coming and Kevin Feige's got some kind of project under development, too.
